Sheffield University Performing Arts Society (SUPAS) is the University of Sheffield’s only society specialising in musical theatre.

We put on at least two shows each academic year in the University Drama Studio; past productions include Made in Dagenham, Songs for a New World, The Addams Family, Sweeney Todd, 9to5, Curtains, Rent, and Sister Act to name just a few!

We also regularly run a variety of workshops and projects in which we collaborate with other performance societies. As well as all this, we have our own radio show and host plenty of informal sober and non-sober socials throughout the semester!

Our core philosophy is to have fun and be as inclusive as possible, welcoming everyone regardless of experience. Whether you like to act, sing, dance, play an instrument, direct, design costume or run tech, there's a place for you!
